Anybody fish the French Broad River?

Anybody know if flathead catfish are in the stretch of river from Hominy Creek to Woodfin (basically the stretch through Asheville)?

I think you would be more likely to get muskies in that stretch. I never fished that far downstream though so I don't really know about the flatheads. I think Redfish Tom might know though.

I know muskies are in there but I've never caught one. Most of the muskies are found upstream of Asheville.

I figure with the sorta deep water around the parks on Amboy Road there has to be some flatheads in that area.
