With our new software, we now have the capability to "promote" posts from the forums to our blogs which appear on the front page. This is really cool because now we can feature YOUR fishing reports on the front page where everyone can see them! ppowell was the first to have his report shown on the front page, congratulations!
We hope to change the front page blog content every few days or more often at times. Interested in having your report displayed on the front page? The selection process is somewhat arbitrary right now but I can tell you how to improve your chances:
Follow as many of the suggestions in the post, Anatomy of a Good Fishing Report , as possible.
Put your pictures in our photo gallery (that makes it much easier for us to size and format them to fit on the front page) and then link to them in your post.
Keep it clean, real and informative.
