Gel coat repair near G'ville?

Out of curiosity are the gouges on the the bow keel?
If so an alternative would be to fill with thickened epoxy and install a keelshield over it.

That could solve 2 problems with one shot. Seals the damage and protects it from further damage.

Just a thought if that is where your damage is.

Drumrunner - first of all, really cool screen name. The gouges are pretty much all over. She's a 30 year old maverick and 30 years of shallow waters, oyster bars, and trailering have left their mark. I'd like to get her looking new again, so this is as much about form as function. The keel guard is a good recommendation and she already has one, but it's coming off. I'll be replacing that soon too!

I have used Pamlico Fiberglass twice and 2 friends used them as well with great results.

I have used Woolard and Nelson in Chocowinity. Had great success with them.
