I'm going to be down at Sneads Ferry on and off through the winter. What I was wondering is there some flounder to be found when the water gets colder? Do you find them on mud flats more since it warms up quicker during the day or can you find them on sandy areas? Maybe I should just get up with Alan for a gigging charter?

Went last weekend in sneads ferry. Me and my buddy limited out in 3 hours firday night and limited out sat night, just took a little longer. The water is super clear and there were lots of fish in certain areas, just have to move around to find them. Make sure you are going slow, some of the fish were buried really good. If you are new to the sneads ferry area, I would deff recommend going with Allan, theres a lot of water to cover and lots of sandbars to get stuck on if you aren't careful, not to mention he probably knows that area better than anyone else, especially for gigging.
