Dad and I had planned to good to the river this morning and give the bronze backs a shot, but a look at the radar yesterday evening showed that might be a waste of time. We opted to go with plan B and try some private water we have access to for largemouths. Got on the water about 6:30 to start our lap around the lake and fished until a little after 10 with only 1 LMB and 1 spot to show for our efforts. Don't know what the deal was, we threw everything, including the kitchen sink at them but they just weren't interested. The lone LM came on a Texas rigged senko, and it was a decent 3 pounder.

Dad brought a can of night crawlers and some light action spinners to try and catch a few to put in his pond. Once we started targeting them the action was fast and furious. We ended up putting 32 in the tank and leaving the rest biting. No pics, unfortunately, because we were working fast to get them home ASAP. There were several good bulls in the 10+" range though.
