I was cruising the internet looking for some new fly patterns. I saw this one and it
said "crappie" all over it. I figured with chartruese or white body they should be a
killer. I tied mine on #6 and #8 hooks and they are about 2 to 2 1/2 inches long.
Great looking flies.

The first 3 here are where I saw the fly...Wedware Glass Minnow...you can Google
it...it just shows the fly but not how to tie. Really simple..just look at the fly....
maribou, peacock herl...thats it.

The ones below are ones I tied. I have an assortment...I believe that
they may also be good for Albies and Bonito. A couple of em are still a
little damp from where I water tested em in the kitchen sink...I like to
know how they swim so I tie em on a piece of thread and put em in
the sink and bounce em around. few small clousers thrown in also for good measure...

They look good Scott. I think you are right, Albies, Bonito and maybe even Spanish will eat those up, especially in the spring when the bait is running small (glass minnows and small anchovies).

Nice flys Scott. I have had crappie on my mind lately I know some good spots on the black river when the time is right. I may need to start tying some up

Not sure, but I think my shad flies would work for crappie.

Nice flies there Scott, Should fool the Fat Alberts esp the ones with the flash on the sides. The flash was what they were keying on when Tom and I went after them. When the fly we were using would loose it piece of flash they wouldn't touch it , but as soon as we tied on another with the flash it was on again.
