Gonna head out on my kayak on Sunday the 12th of April. fishing for what ever bites. gonna leave from creekside park and make my way over to lawsons creek or downtown newbern. gonna fish around all the bridges. anyone else gonna be out on sunday? heres my proposed path its marked in red. if anyone else is gonna be out that way let me know we can meet up and head out together.

I got to work this weekend. But I'm looking to go next weekend.

i fish for what ever bites. prolly gonna go to merchants and get some minnows and just float on down. i can only normally go fishing on sundays since i'm the stay at home dad now. and saturdays are family get together days. but sundays i am 99 percent of the time allowed to head on out.

lol i know its long. but i like paddling. and i know the area very well. also its all going with the current for the most part.

I actually like his choice going into brices creek for the kayak. It is a loooooong paddle and I dont believe there is a current tho unless its wind blown.

it wasnt that bad. once i came out of the creek the wind was against me but the current was going with me. all in all it was a good day.
