Dennis and I hit the HPCL today, and found the fish in a chewing mood! We caught 15 bass, mainly on bubblegum floating worms and Senkos, and a couple on c rigged speedcraw and Zoom lizards. Bad thing was, both of us lost good fish close to the boat, he on a shaky head and me on a floating worm.
That's why they call it fishing and not catching.
Still, most of our fish were keepers,, biggest around three+. Most of the lake was fairly clear, but under East Fork it had a good stain, but it didn't deter the bite!

Great, fun, day at my old home waters, going again tomorrow with my son Matt. Gonna make hay while the sun shines!

It was as good a day as I've seen there in a while. We missed several bites, or could have easily had a 20 fish day.

Today was slow out there, we got six bass, one crappie Matt got on a speedcraw.
