put in at the wildlife ramp in seven springs around 1pm yesterday and fished up river for about 4 hours. caught 6 bass, biggest one being 4-1/2lbs. river is really low but the bass are in attack mode in the small deeper pockets.

Nice catch. I had a little trouble getting up river last week with the gas motor. Need some rain.

yeah I was bumping bottom with my trolling motor in some places, need some rain for sure.

I agree quest4reds, I was thinking the same thing when I landed it. not sure what the water temp is, when I got to the landing I realized I had left my hummingbird at the house so I hit the water without it. felt a little naked out there without it too. I will say this, there was a clear water runoff into a deep pocket where I caught it so i'm figuring it was cooler here than in the rest of the river.

Nice Bass for sure never fished seven springs. I live in pink hill so I'm not far from there going to have to check it out sometime. Bass fishing is my favorite fishing to do.

Bass fishing is all I do. It's good fishing when it gets low like it is now. I usually fish from the boat ramp up to the cliffs.

if i ever get my powerhead fixed i will be right in there with ya. keep catching them. it is on fire the entire way up from new bern right now i'd say.
