Saw pics today of what is left of it. Not much. I guess it was just a matter of time but it is sad to see another part of the history of Hatteras Island slip into the waves. But that is the story of the outer banks in a nutshell. Eventually the sea can reclaim whatever man can build.

That stinks. I live and raleigh and since we didnt even get drizel i though the hurricane wasnt that bad. Sorry to hear that, pics of the damage?
Scott thanks for the photos. Unfortunately much of that damage was there already. The collapse at the end was new. It has been closed for the last few years, and last November I got a few photos showing that big sag in the middle. Guess the developers have their new condo site! Dang.
