I've got hooked on painting lures and here are some of my work.

My first fish of 2015 was with this lure

It was a spotted bass not big

Looking forward to fishing with them this weekend on Norman if weather permits. Here a Shad rap I've done just for Norman.

I tried lure painting for a while. I quickly discovered I have no artistic talents. Maybe 1 in 10 of mine turn out decent.

Those look nice, always a pleasure to catch a fish on something you made. I have painted some this winter also. I don't have an airbrush so all these were done with spray cans and paintbrush.

I am not artsy at all. My first attempts at fly tying were horrid, but I kept on and my flies look very nice now. No show quality from me, but the fish seem to love them, and I am not ashamed to show them to others now. Keep working at painting lures and you'll get much better, and the painted lures you already have may be exactly what the fish want.

I love playing around with some of my old lure, putting them back to work!!!!

all of the above look great!! I have had good success on a couple that don;t look anywhere near that good.
