I was hoping to get a recommendation for a grouper charter. Somewhere between Swansboro and Morehead.

Capt. John Mallette, Snead's Ferry. Not sure of this, but think keeping Grouper is closed.
This was half day with Capt. John, 7 person limits ....... ICM

John Mallette is a great recommendation out of Sneads Ferry. For Morehead Capt John Cawthern of Procastinator Sport Fishing or Capt Chris Kimrey of Mount Maker Charters.

Thanks for the information! The trip wouldn't be until the last weekend in May or first weekend in June. Will the season still open May 1?

Capt John is the man, not sure if he has his boat or not right now though, I know he is having one built at the moment. Grouper is closed now and should open May 1st.
