I do NOT want to start a political argument. But I thought it worth posting this. Regardless of how you lean, I think we should all be concerned about possible ramifications of disturbing a national forest. I'm all for energy exploration, but I can't help but feel this may come back to bite us. Bottom line: If you feel strongly about preserving at least a portion of this beautiful country as undisturbed (or minimally disturbed) wilderness, then be sure to make your voice heard.

We fully support the sentiment, regardless of whether you are for or against a particular issue. Contact representatives, put up yard signs, exercise your voting rights or even create your own lobbying websites. But please remember that NCangler is not the podium for political debate.
