Hatteras Island 9/7-19

I will be down on Hatteras in Avon from Sept. 7 - 19 (subtracting the travel days). I'll be staying in a canal front place near the DQ. If anyone is down there at that time and wants to team for up for a trip send me a PM. I had fun last year catching small blues and puppy drum. I rigged our old Malibu II with a removable rod holder mad from plastic 2x, PVC, a plastic rod holder and some stainless hardware. It just pops in through the scupper holes and I get to leave the missus at home.

I just left Waves and the wind was blowing 25 to 30 and it was rough in the bay on the kayak. I go every year and next year will be staying in Frisco beginning Sept. 5th for the week. If you are there that time next year give me a shout and we can do a little fishing in the sound.
