Since a coastal trip got fouled I spent the afternoon on the Haw probing downfalls and stumps for LM Bass. This time of year necessitates very slow action but I'm not much for dead stickin' baits so I stuck to slow rolling a 3/8 oz spinner and wound up with three that ranged from 13-16".
The only bad part about the trip is having to look at all the various forms of trash that needlessly and irresponsibly ends up in our rivers. Let's all do our part to conserve, preserve and protect our waters, eh?
I couldnt agree w/ you guys more!!!! Every time I go to my lil spot on Deep River.... or for that matter any spot on Deep River I clean up trash that other people leave there!!! So now every time I visit the River I take an extra large garbage bag w/ me! I thought about buyin one of those metal trash cans and chaining it to a tree....... still might DO IT!! I guess people think that the river will carry it away and they'll never see it again!!
Tubby 1, the only problem with the trash can is if they normally throw trash on the ground they will continue to do so with a can sitting next to em. It will however give the good person a place to put his trash, which is a plus.
