Just joined the the club.

I will be at High Rock Lake tomorrow. What's bitin' this time of year? Won't have boat; just want to drop a line as I relax...

Catfish for sure. They've been catching some monsters on cut bait according to another forum I'm on.

Thanks. Will try even though it's supposed to be rainy and windy tomorrow. What kind of cut bait do you recommend?
see if you can catch some panfish, bream etc and cut that up and if you see anyone throwing a net you may be able to buy a few shad. Otherwise use chicken livers, nightcrawlers or live line some large minnows. Fish the bottom or just off bottom. Try to fish structure if possible since you have no real way of telling bottom contour from land. If your fishing in a current, place baits where they will pass or rest behind structure since that is where fish will lay out of the pull of the current waiting for something tasty to come by.
