hey , heading down south to nagshead and staying for a week, taking yak /me and would like to get some suggestions on a starting point. I would like to get into some REDS and TROUT. I fish pa rivers and streams and NJ coast.

Hey whats up rick, Im not sure were stuff is biting there. But u can go to TW's bait and tackle. they could give you the current info for what is biting. There are all kind of ditches on the sound side of south nags head. the only thing is getting to them with the yak. U use to be able to go behind the Bodie Island lighthouse. across from it is a old hunting club. If you can get back there. u will have to put over at Oregon Inlet. It might be kind of a row, but it might be well worth it. If you cant get any were. I heard they were catching some fish on the causeway bridge between Nags Head and Manteo. Good Luck
