And no, I'm not talking about the ones from Pittsburgh. I'm talking about the loyal and bold, purple and gold of ECU! I am a proud Pirate and don't ever want to bleed any other color.
I grew up right outside Charlotte, but went to ECU for nursing school (yes, I am a 'murse'). I now live in Rocky Mount, after following the woman who is now my wife.
I hunted and fished all the time in middle school and high school, but got out of it when life happened. Glad to finally be finding time to get back to doing something I love (being outdoors). So now I hunt from Oct - Feb and fish the rest of the time
I am 26 years young, with a 2 and a half year old at home. Have been married for almost five years, and like anything worthwhile, its been quite a task at times but I wouldn't trade her for anything in this world. Especially since she started encouraging me to start making more guy friends and get back to doing the 'country boy' meet stuff I did so much of before meeting her.
Believe it or not, some of the stereotypes are true and its hard to find males in my profession who share my interests. I work with so many women that its hard to enjoy (yes, it is possible to be around too many women), so I'm gettign back into the swing of things in the outdoors and will be trolling around here a good deal I imagine. Thanks for your time, and look forward to the fish stories!
