...is anybody out there? Well the ponds have been fair around here. Most everything I've caught was right against the bank, any closer and they would be on it with me. Lakes have been stained to muddy with all the rain so we haven't tried them.

Ponds here are stained to muddy after all this rain. Lakes aren't too bad.

everything i pass by on the way to work is too thick to drink, and too thin to plow, save for a couple of stocked streams, but they are now just starting to come down.

Good to hear from you guys. I fished the lakes into summer till that first big storm messed up high rock then we switched to smallmouth on the new river. I would check the rock weekly but it seemed to never really clear up. Going to hang with the smallies if the water will come downand clear a little.

Smallie's biting now? Usually bite good in late summer. I usually fish the South Fork. Where are you fishing at?
