hey guys,

I moved to NC last fall and just found this website. We had one in Ohio, which is where I'm from, and these are great. I love to fish, and although my wife enjoys fishing, she makes fun of me for how much I talk about it and read about it. I enjoy almost any kind of fishing-bass, catfish, saltwater or flyfishing. The bass here are larger than I am used to, and it has been a fun spring. I have caught more 4-6 lb bass than ever. I have also been introduced to the chain pickerel and a bowfin that was 25" and over 5lbs. I look forward to hearing about your catches, strategies and exaggerations.

I live in Person county and fish at Mayo a lot. I'd like to try out some other spots but I don't know much about NC yet. I'm hoping to learn on here.
