I'm headed out to do a little night kayak fishing on lake norman with a couple friends tonight, but we're not sure where to put in. I'm concerned because of the recent boating accidents... Where's a good place to put in that won't get a lot of boating pressure at night? I really don't want to show up on the local news as another casualty from a careless driver. Thanks, and God bless
Do your part to keep the careless drivers aware of your presence. Make sure you have a light on your kayak and keep it on. Might also be a good idea to carry a signal device like an air horn or whistle in case someone doesnt see you.
thats good advise but if you do not know warter good, do not gnly fools rush in.
