Has anyone seen a Spaniard yet? There were some six inchers caught two weeks ago, the big boys should be here any day.

Not a one but I can't remember an April without one - so they have a few more days to show up! I'm going to chase some Monday around here and hopefully head down to Sheephead rock later in the week looking for big'ns.

Take your camera this time! If you find them it might be cause the birds weigh 300lbs a copy!!!

Got a report from a reliable source today that the Spanairds are at Sheephead Rock today. That's usually where they first show up around here so they should be off Topsail next week.

The bonito are still here too so next week it looks like we might be catching spanish and bonito on the same trip! Ah.... I love spring fishing!
