[Joe's Back Office]

Has any one tried this new bait by Mann's it is for salt water, I have used some of the Mann's fresh water cranks baits and have had good luck. If any one had luck with the tidewater waker it only dives 1 to 3 inches ?

joe, i've tried them in several colors this summer an fall but no takers...............chris

I haven't tried them but I have heard about them. Thge idea is to fish them just under the surface causing a wake on the surface, as baitfish sometimes do. It's an interesting concept and I can think of a couple of situations where they might have worked well for me. Might need to drop a couple in my tackle box this coming year.

I have all ideas that working that bait just under the surface (producing a rolling wake like a mullet) would work great on trout! Anyone else trying these?
