Heard on news this morning that Alcoa is planning to drop the Rock by 14 feet by November 1st. Nothing I can do about it, excpet bi--- and complain. I just don't understand why they have to drop the lake during prime fishing season. I am hoping to be in a very large regional tournament there at end of September, with anglers from 4 other states. Most of these guys will be staying in area hotels, spending money on food, fuel, fishing licenses, etc. Only to find out that there will be little water to fish? It would serve them right if this event was moved to another county, or state and let them reap the benefits of this tournament. Anyone know how to complain to Alcoa about this? Not that I expect it to do any good, just get it off my chest.

If it is Fishers of Men, I heard it was being moved to Lake Hartwell.
Now there would be irony. A tournament moved TO Hartwell in order to have better lake levels!
