Next week will be my annual family trip to Holden beach. Will be mainly fishing from the surf around Lockwood Folly Inlet. Just wondering if anyone had a report of what's being caught in the surf and water temp?

I hit the beach on Oak Island this past Tuesday 5/6. Water was around 70 degrees and it was a little windy. I was bottom fishing with fresh and salted shrimp and throwing a jig looking for flounder. The only fish caught was a small ray. I didn't see any bait fish in the surf yet either.
