Headed to south port, Holden beach area soon. So I'm wondering how have the trout and flounder fishing lately?

Three of us limited out today on speckled trout in new Hanover county between 5 and 5:45am. Two went 4.5 pounds, the rest were no smaller than 2.5 pounds. Back home by 7:30 after going for our limits on reds. Really quick productive trip.​

Released several trout and a handful of flounder south of you this weekend. Water was clearer than last time I was down. Its on for trout for sure.
