How much did she weigh?

Didn't get to weigh her cause I always freak with the big ones and want to get them back in the water ASAP. She measured 23". If I didn't know better I would say she still was full of eggs.

At 23 inches I'll give her 7.5-8, of course you could say 10 haha. Nice fish

I thought about it and thinking now she was just showing some baby fat. Her vent seemed to be inflamed but it still seems she should have spawned long ago down here. Thanks for the input everybody. I'm going with 7.5 for now and work up to Trigger's suggestion later.

It is already getting bigger by the minute, Rodney. Miss getting up with you. One of these days I might be able to get out of town but until then, you have an invite to come visit.

Nice one Doug!!! We are still in the spawning season. Though the majority of fish spawned around the full moon in mid-april the big girls will still spawn earlier and later during the spawning season.
