Ok so my roommate and I have been wondering how to get to the opening on Tar river that we pass by all the time. I know everyone has seen it. Its the openeing u see when you goin down Greenville Blvd/264 going towards North Campus Apartments and u look over to the right as you cross the bridge and see the pretty big opening on the shore that can very much be used for bank fishing. We tired of goin to Town Commons to fish the Tar and we see people down all the time so we know its accessible...some how. So if anyone could tell me how to get there it would be greatly appreciated.

I know the spot but Ive only seen boats beached there with people. To get there any other way would be a hike through tough woods and I'm pretty sure trespassing.. Which technically you are doing anyway once on shore there..

You can access it by foot and by boat through a creek, pm me. i fish it all the time. Id be glad to give you directions or show you how.
