How high are the winds predicted for where you live.
I'm a good ways inland but they are getting pretty high on the beaches right now. it only predicts 30mph for here, theyre predicting up to 100 on the coast.
They just said it is now a Cat 2.
We got 70mph right now

Checking in on those of you close to the coast. Hoping that all of you are safe.

I just returned from Atlantic Beach. Stopped in at Chasin Tails and they didn't have any damage from the storm and are open for business. From what I saw the little damage there was on the beach was minimal. Mother Ocean was still angry though. Power is now restored at the house. Time to go fishing...

Here between Grifton and Vanceboro it didn't even get windy. Not even hardly leaves in the yard and the power never flashed. We just got a good soaking.

all is well here in Washington. My plastic table I forgot to "secure" didn't even turn over. Just cleaned up a few small tree limbs, now off to see the Parents and boil some shrimp!

It coulda been much worse. Glad all you boys down east are ok, and your families. Guess the fishing is gonna be super now, huh?
Didn'rt do much at all at Kinston either. Only saw one limb down in my front yoard that was a little larger than my thumb. Lat yesterday afternoon we did have a severe thunderstorm. The wind got up a bit then, but quickly died back down. Haven't heard from the Bay River area yet.
