I think it's going to make them HUNGRY! Personal experience has shown that the day before and first two days after a major storm system such as this one comes through the area the fish go on a feeding frenzy.
I can't vouch for the water down south where you normally fish but it isn't bad up here when it happens. The water in the Neuse can get muddy especially in the creeks but the tidal water stays pretty clean.I was going to ask this very same question. Moreso what would the copious qty's of rain do to inland fishing.
I may have to take up ocean fishing! Only been three times with my little brother here in Jacksonville (actually at the Surf City Pier) and only caught one fish each time....A three foot Sand Shark! When I fish the only fish in the ocean are sand sharks!!I think it's going to make them HUNGRY! Personal experience has shown that the day before and first two days after a major storm system such as this one comes through the area the fish go on a feeding frenzy.
