But like everything else if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. Upon further research I found out you have to purchase a plan to use the messaging. It goes from 14.95 a month for the safety plan(which I believe activates the SOS button) to 99.95 per month for the highest plan. The huge advantage is you can communicate any where in the world cell service or no cell service. Another cool thing is you can plan routes ahead of time on a map on your computer like Google Earth and then go fish those specific points you marked.
