The inshore redfish bite in lower Brunswick County and the Little River area just keeps getting stronger. The redfish are schooled up in bunches of 40 and 50 fish and they are in very shallow water. Anglers are catching them on Gulp shrimp imitations (new penny is a good color) and on live mud minnows.

The redfish are bunches tight hiding from dolphins and will stay in this pattern until the water warms a bit and they move out into deeper water. Right now they are roaming extremely shallow water (for saftey) and holding in holes about 3 feet deep. All the guys catching them are using push poles to sneak up on them quietly.

Red hot redfish bite continues at the coast
