I've got an opportunity to purchase one of these boats and I was hoping for some input on them. It's in really good shape and they are only asking $650 for it and are including two swivel chairs, four rod holders, two oars with holders, and a 28lb thrust trolling motor. This will be my first boat but it seems perfect since I won't need a traitor and it'll fold up and fit in my car. I've read some online reviews but would prefer it if someone on here has an opinion since I trust y'all. Thanks in advance.

I am not a good one to suggest anything, but if you plan to use it in shallow salt, I am not sure how well a boat like that would take oyster bars. Maybe you have other plans for it in places where oysters are not a concern. I am sure it is a quality boat.

For that money you could get a used jon boat, canoe or tandem kayak that would be much more durable. If you only have a car I can see why you wouldn't want a jon boat. I think the slight hassle of cartopping a canoe or kayak is still better than having to inflate and deflate a boat and then clean it to put it back in the car.

I have to agree a canoe or kayak if no tow vehicle. You can buy a used canoe/jonboat and a lot of goodies for $650.
