Hey guys headed out in the am in Emerald to do some yaking at sun up and am curious if the marina has a public ramp and if it's possible to launch the kayak there. Can't find anything close by to the bridge to launch at.

I belive its private now, Use the town ramp on the island or the wildlife ramp at cedar point on 24.

The Island harbor is private but on coast guard road on the right side going is a yak and canoe launch. There is parking and restrooms and a wooden trail to the little pier...

Poor excuse for a kayack launch, 1/4 mile drag of the yak is that the best they can do for us? Eat your wheaties and use a kayack trailer, just ask shawn

Still it puts you in good areas, they should have put a rail slide for yaks though.

Yeah this forum has been great the few short months I've been on it. I'm hoping to get on some trout tomorrow I've been working really hard trying to catch my first with no luck doing decent with drum but can't find a trout to save my life hopefully tomorrow's better

too late to help, but there's also a canoe/kayak launch at the public park at end of Cedar St in EI. parking avail for only a few vehicles. FYI -- joel
