Today me and my adventure companion hit the Deep River. Water is finally down to wadeable levels in my necj of the woods. Found three of these guys all on the same rock. Drifting the speedcraw split shot rigged.

Also tried out my new Lews High Speed Speed Spin and Lews Carbon Lite 6'6" rod. Very impressive! I may have a new favorite spinning set up!

My son didnt fish but he did enjoy the wading part!

Gotta love taking the kiddos fishing..any day getting a kid a outdoors is a good day! ..Nice bass!
