Headed out to Jordan this afternoon to try to get bit before the cold weather realizes it lost it's death grip on us and goes for the throat again.

Got to the ramp and seen thousands of birds the size of Butterball turkeys diving into dying shad everywhere. My hopes were there was also bass the size of Butterball turkeys picking off the shad too!!!!

The birds must have ate the bass. First time all winter I couldn't put one in the boat, I couldn't even get a bite. A buddy of mine was out there this morning and couldn't get bit. A frustrating day.......
Hope Neil had better luck.

I had to work Saturday to make up for the snow day and yesterday I decided to stay home and watch the Classic and Daytona 500, I knew I wasnt going to miss anything as cold as the last week has been.
