First of all...Hello to the board.
I splashed a new boat today about 30 mins before dark at ebenezer and they were yankin em in at the boat ramp. I could barely get into and out of the ramp (kinda a problem really) because there was just no room left to drive between the bobbers. The guy on the dock that I tied to while parking the truck caught one while I tied off the bow line and another when i untied it to leave. When I came back, there were more bank fisherman along both sides, and at least 10 boats within 40 yds of the ramps, all fanned out inside of the no-wake. While I was slipping through the boats to find a way past, one boat had on a double, 3 others caught fish (all within a minute or so). So, it looks like you guys that crappie fish will have fun this weekend if the weather will allow....good luck.
I saw about 15 caught in the less than mins or so I was coming and going....
The way they were raking them in it looks like a great time to take kid and get them hooked..
Stats on where they were:
54 degrees
10-15 ft water
looked like depth of bait was about 4-5'
I will post up info on the stripers as I learn the lake. I am sure it is similar to Hartwell and Murray in SC, just got to learn the honey holes.....
