It started off a really nice day blue bird sky’s and a light wind I got on the water around 8 AM. Then the wind started to pick up and made it difficult control the kayak

The water was up a good couple feet since I was at the lake on 15-Apr. The water was dingy almost like coffee in all the coves I went into. I did manage to get one bass it was 1.65 on my scale and a okay size crappie. Both

on a main lake point

both came on a Ned rig

Also traffic is definitely picking up on the lake the ramp was packed when I came off the water at 1 PM and yes the crazy people were out in force

I had a tough time out there this weekend too, wasn't able to figure out where the bass were.

What ramp did you go out of? I went out of Farrington Point

All we caught was small fish all weekend. Guess the larger ones are on bed now with these water temps.
