Pretty much the same story all over the Carolinas. A little more rain along the coast but not nearly enough inland. The sad part is that when a municpality anounces that they might have to ban lawn irrigation, many folks just have to get in one last good deep watering. I guess I'm just not that into growing and mowing grass.
Yep. Things are very dry all over. Falls holds approximately 40 billion gallons at normal pool (251.5 ft above MSL). We are currently between 5 and 5 1/2 ft below normal. That's about....er....um....well I didn't get into rangerin' because of my math skills ...Let's just say that's a LOT of water missing.
agreed,, This is the lowest I've seen Jordan,,, makes for interesting trips to the lake to say the least... now's the time to clear some stump tops!

Also a good time to set up some "habitats" to hold crappie! Scrap untreated wood nailed into spiders and teepees or some PVC "trees"..anchored down with cinderblocks..

hey dave the other year i saw jordan get to the lowest i have ever seen the lake dropped to 209 and you could not put a boat in at sea forth ramps due to they were completely oout of the water the only places that i knew of that you could launch a boat from was 1 ramp at ebenezer and then down at the wildlife ramp.these were the only ramps that extended out into the lake far enough to launch a boat.
I knew it was low last year unlike the previous year or two where the hurricane filled it up where the water was at the top of the ramps...

I dont know man,, this year just seems lower... but your probalby right.

Did the rain this weekend help at all???
It'd be interesting to see what the water levels are like at other popular sites.
