After all the rain we have had the last few days/weeks I figured we had timed it out just right by waiting to go out on Wed. of this past week. What I didn't figure on was 15mph winds from the WSW.
We put in at Farrington Point and went North to Bush Creek. Water was very high in the lake but clarity was pretty good, however we didn't have any luck up there. From there it got worse, we made it down to Beaver Creek but couldn't find any place out of the wind. Didn't see anything on the banks so the fish must really be scattered.
Pretty day and pretty frustrated. Hopefully we will still catch some crappie by end of spring!
