We will throw a "floater" out the back and put the rod in the holder and forget about it... if mahi are around.. they definately pick it up (we get the occasional shark or pesky remora).. but it's worth it when a mahi get's it.Keep an eye open while Bottom Fishing for Mahi-Mahi.
