Fished a small "pickup" tourney today with some teams in the club I'm in (The Jon Boat Fishing Club). Fish were really active, but I only managed 2 bass, a dink on a medium depth crank, think it was schooling & chasing shad but it's the only one we got from that group. Later I caught a nice 4# on a deeper crank, biggest fish of the year for me. Partner caught a 2# on a topwater early.
Also caught a few white bass, including one of the biggest I've seen in a long time, too busy to measure it though. Winning weight was over 12#s, I think 5 fish including big fish - just under 6!
