Anyone know anything about this area? Found some information about it on the internet from 2006. Shows they rent row boats, but can you take your own kayak or canoe on it? Is it worth fishing? What can you catch? Thanks in advance for any information.

Found out some answers to my questions. According the lady with the Parks Dept, great fishing, can only use their boats, need a motor and an anchor. Only open from March to October for fishing. Lots of snakes....that will fight your for your bass. Lots of bass and panfish.

I found it interesting because you cant launch your own boat since it is the water supply for the area, even a plastic kayak....however, you can bring your own motor and lead anchor. And they didnt say it couldnt be combustion. Seems like those two things would cause more pollution to the water supply, than me paddling my kayak.

I grew up a mile from this lake. I wouldn't call it "great" fishing unless something has changed over the years. Lake Concord right down the road offered better fishing but it has been closed for some time now. If you're in the area, Lake Fisher could offer some decent fishing opportunities. Yea, I agree with you on the gas powered motors.

there is parking spaces right infront of the building when you get there, I think that only have like 12-15 boats, so if you go on a friday, that is the longest day you can fish, 7am-7pm, I would be there arould 6:45 b/c there will be people lined up to get in there
