Going to be fishing Lake Gaston in this area (see map) later this month. LOVE all the creeks and drops around here. Any tips or things I should know before I drop in? Probably look for bass first, then switch to panfish or maybe cats...

Bring your sea legs and expect company, that can be a high traffic area. I would get away from the main lake crowds and go towards the backs of the creeks based on what I have done up there this time of year.
