Well, we fished Jordan for two solid days and just didn't get the bite like I know that lake is capable of. The water temp was 6 degrees colder than it was only the previous Saturday. The wind was over 15mph all day long, the barometer was poor for us the entire time and the lunar score was one of the worst for the entire month, nightly lows were hovering right around 40 but with all that said, I did manage to scratch out this old girl at 1100 on a jig. I never felt the strike, she just inhaled the jig and started swimming off. At least until I bent the backbone on my Carbonlite. She tipped the scales at 6lbs 12ozs. We managed over the two days to boat a few more but nothing like her, quite a few dinks actually. We fished mostly shallow water and I think we should have backed out and started fishing points. Oh well, hind sight is always 20/20 isn't it?
