Dalton and I made it out to Lake McIntosh today to enjoy a bit of our spring break. The sun was shining and the wind was blowing. Although, it did lay down for the paddle back to the dock.

We worked the fly rods today. Caught an 11" largemouth earlier and later found a couple fish in a shallower cove. We only had 15 minutes left before we needed to head back after we found the cove. Dalton got a nice crappie and I got a 10" white bass. The white bass fought surprisingly hard for its size...does this normally hold true for white bass?

Thanks guys. It has not been hard to get hooked into fly fishing since I got this new rod.

Philip-- I am working the demo. Will told me he got the tourney stuff back from you and I think we are going to look at it this week. Thanks a lot for looking over it for us. Are you planning on making it out to the demo?

FYI to everyone---
Get:Outdoors is having a demo at Lake McIntosh from 11:00-3:00. The demo will be at the marina at exit 138. Most of the boats will be Heritage and Native but, there will be some Wilderness Systems. If you are interested in trying out some boats come on out.
