Between traveling, promoting the book, and family matters it has been WAY too long since I had a line in the water. So I headed over to the lake tonight, and this tasty channel cat was there to welcome me back.

nice cat for sure congrats and jeff if i do get a copy can i get it signed ?lol should come with me one day on the new river for white cats were hammering them right now and its a great way to relieve stress we broguht home 17 whites from 3 to 7 pounds the other day and was home before it was close to getting dark

I've done told you my lips are sealed on book issues! But I do have to get down there and go fishing with you, we'll have a blast. What do those white cats taste like? They sound like fun. I love the big blues, but I rarely get a good size channel cat (most of the ones around the docks are smaller) and they taste the best. those whites are a good dish when cooked kinda reminds me of eating a channel,i dont care for eating the big cats they seem to get a muddy chewy taste to them when they get bigger than 5 to 10 pounds.
one of these days i want to go after the big cats maybe this spring at the highway 70 bridge area in kinston,i hear they get them there in good numbers and 20 to 30 pounders get common.
have a great trip h20 and yes ill be jealous cath me a biggun
