Channel cats, spotted bass and nice bluegill at the shores of the Marshall Plant last evening. No big blues but still fun fish on light tackle. Lots of little spots hitting anything that moved, the bluegill were taking crappie jigs and the channel cats were coming in the rocks and hitting worms. But I have about given up on the big blue cats and I saw only one striped bass caught.

If you want to catch a carp (I don't know why you would, but if you do) they are thick in there, jumping everywhere. A guy down from me was taking one after the other, nice big fish. Don't know what he was using for bait.
