Glad to find this place. Been living on Lake Norman for the past 6 years but haven't spent any time fishing it, hardly had the time to enjoy it. So am slowing down, using the boat more (Four Winns Funship 264), and wanting to fish the lake.
Have seen both Sandy's and Stripers (sorry, for those not in Texas, not sure if all know we called White Bass - Sand Bass where I grew up), but not much more, but then just getting my feet wet, or rather my tackle.
Hoping to get hints and tips on fishing Lake Norman. Don't have a trailer for the boat, bought it on the lake and it's never left there. Pretty much haven't fished in maybe 20 years, so consider me a fishing near-virgin I guess. I have no clue what they hit on here, and I truly prefer using lures vs. live bait, only because I like the thought of having to entice the fish rather than just watching a bobber float.
Anyway, thanks for a great resource, and I look forward to many interesting visits here!
