Took my son today for a little father/son trip. Throwing small slider grubs in various colors and caught 3 spots, 5 crappie and 8 or 9 white perch. Some in Cornelius creek, most in the state park area. Spots on the bank, everything else seemed to be 10' to 20' off the bank on or close to the bottom. Brought some fish home, didn't tear up anything, and had a blast with my best friend....Couldn't ask for a better day. Didn't unhook when we came in tonight, might strike out again!
